
Brasserie Astoria is one of Stockholm’s most vibrant restaurant destinations. Located in the historic Astoria cinema building on Nybrogatan, the restaurant combines an energetic atmosphere with a modern international brasserie menu.
The kitchen focuses on high-quality ingredients, classic techniques and bold flavours, served in a lively dining room where lunch, dinner and late evenings meet. As Sous Chef at Brasserie Astoria, you are an important part of the kitchen’s daily operations. Working closely with the Head Chef and Assistant Head Chef, you help ensure smooth service, consistent quality and strong teamwork.
You will take an active role during service, support the development of the kitchen team and contribute to maintaining the high standards of the restaurant.
This role is ideal for a skilled chef ready to take the next step in a dynamic and ambitious kitchen environment.
Have experience as Sous Chef or a Senior Chef with leadership responsibilities
Be comfortable working in a high-volume, high-quality kitchen
Take responsibility during service and support the team
Be structured, reliable and solution-oriented
Have a strong passion for food and craftsmanship
Be eager to develop professionally within a strong kitchen organisation
Experience from brasserie-style or international kitchens is a plus, but not required.

INTERNATIONAL
In 2016 the Group opened its first restaurant outside of Sweden. Restaurant Frantzén’s Kitchen was opened in Hong Kong and has since won several awards and is currently ranked as one of the best restaurants in the country. In late 2018 Zén, which is a sister restaurant to Frantzén in Stockholm, opened in Singapore, and in 2021 Zén was awarded three stars in Guide Michelin.
