We are looking for a hands-on Sous Chef to support our Executive Chef and help lead our kitchen team at Sudden Sally. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen where creativity, teamwork, and consistency matter.

What You'll Do

• Lead and support the kitchen team during service
• Assist with daily kitchen operations and food preparation
• Ensure dishes are prepared and presented consistently
• Train, coach, and support team members
• Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and organization
• Manage inventory, prep levels, and waste control
• Follow and enforce food safety and sanitation standards
• Help create a positive, professional kitchen culture

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen
• At least 1 year of leadership experience
• Strong skills on the hot line and grill
• Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stay calm and organized during busy service periods
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Passion for great food and local ingredients
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
