Schedule and Compensation:

• Full-Time Position
• Hours: 2 shifts available
  • 6:00AM-2:30PM OR
  • 11:00AM- 7:30PM
    • every other weekend and every other holiday are required
• No late nights!
• Pay Rate: $22.00/hour

• Oversee and support line cooks in synchronizing food procurement and other food preparation tasks, ensuring labor and cost control goals are not exceeded
• Read and follow recipes – prepare and cook hot and cold food items
• Ensure proper handling of all food products and equipment is maintained, to ensure food safety and kitchen standards are adhered to at all times
• Ensure cleanliness and high sanitation standards are always maintained in all areas
• Daily use of appropriate PPE for the task assigned and train staff

Qualifications

• Requires a culinary degree/education or equivalent experience
• ServeSafe Manager and RAMP Certifications required or be willing to obtain in 30 days
• Requires at least 3 years of culinary experience (fine dining preferred)
• Specific business experience with older adults or in the retirement housing industry preferred.
