Sous Chef – Ripon – £20 per hour
This Sous Chef role offers the opportunity to work in a calm, well-structured fresh food kitchen where preparation, consistency and teamwork are genuinely valued. The focus is on well-executed dishes and strong fundamentals, rather than rushed volume.
Working closely with the Head Chef, you’ll play a key role in maintaining standards, supporting the brigade and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Sous Chef who enjoys leading by example and contributing to a professional, organised kitchen environment.
Proven experience in fresh food, quality-led kitchens
Confident leading services and supporting junior chefs
Strong prep, organisation and time-management skills
High standards of presentation, flavour and consistency
Reliable, calm and positive under pressure
Keen to develop the team and progress professionally
