Our clients operate this recently refurbished Country Inn with rooms in this quaint village in North Yorkshire with rail links to Leeds, York & Harrogate & are looking to recruit an innovative, creative, and passionate Sous Chef to oversee the team of talented chefs in this refurbished kitchen

Serving a casual gastro pub style menu in a relaxed setting, you will be responsible for creating exciting new menus on a regular basis, using seasonal and local produce

The Ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Be working as a sous chef, or junior sous chef in a similar fresh food eld kitchen, be it hotel, restaurant or gastro pub
• Be able to demonstrate drive and creative flair.
• Understanding of menu development & costings.
• Knowledge of stock control, compliance and allergens
• Self-driven and proven leadership skills
• Experience in developing and training staff.
