JLL empowers you to shape a brighter way

Our people at JLL are shaping the future of real estate for a better world by combining world class services, advisory and technology for our clients. We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people and empowering them to thrive, grow meaningful careers and to find a place where they belong. Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.

What this opportunity involves:
The Sourcing Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the strategic sourcing agenda for Facilities Management services, with a particular focus on delivering sourcing programs for our diverse tenant clients occupying commercial and retail properties. At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way — for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees, and this role sits at the heart of that mission. The primary requirement for this position is strong subject matter expertise in the hard services category, including engineering, maintenance, and building services. While sourcing experience is highly regarded, candidates must demonstrate advanced technical capabilities and real-world experience in managing hard services within a Facilities Management context. Serving as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, the Sourcing Specialist will guide and partner with both internal stakeholders and tenant clients on sourcing and procurement activities, while supporting JLL's bid and business development process. What sets JLL apart is our culture of collaboration, locally and across the globe, and this role will work closely with the Head of Sourcing and account management teams to deliver high-quality solutions tailored to meet diverse tenant needs.

An overview of the role:

  • Lead, prepare, and execute category plans and frameworks for hard services sourcing (e.g., engineering, maintenance, building services), aligning with tenant client requirements and market best practices.
  • Conduct procurement analyses, supplier market approaches, vendor development and evaluation, presenting data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
  • Engage with stakeholders and tenant clients from inception to delivery, obtaining feedback to drive continuous improvement while monitoring emerging trends and supply chain risks in FM hard services.
  • Deliver on multiple, concurrent strategic sourcing initiatives for a high-volume portfolio in a fast-paced business environment, maintaining strong awareness of commercial and retail property operational needs.
  • Oversee supplier performance monitoring and negotiate critical supply arrangements, applying risk management and commercial analysis to optimise results and cost efficiency for JLL and our clients.

Sounds like you? This is what we are looking for:

  • Extensive subject matter expertise in hard services (FM engineering, maintenance operations, asset management) within commercial and retail environments is essential.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain or Facilities/Engineering discipline.
  • 3-5 years demonstrated experience working within the Facilities Management industry, with a strong track record of technical delivery and leadership in hard services for commercial or retail tenants or clients.
  • Proven ability to deliver results as part of a multi-disciplinary sourcing team, with demonstrated project management expertise in balancing multiple priorities and timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, plus solid understanding of supply chain performance, contracting, and supplier risk management.

Benefits:

  • Great employee discounts off fitness, wellbeing & other renowned brands
  • 18 weeks paid maternity leave
  • Private Health Insurance Discounts
  • Active Social Club
  • Employee assistant program
  • Novated Lease for EV cars
  • Paid time off for volunteer work
  • Career Opportunities with Australia's #1 Commercial Real Estate firm
  • Premium offices
