About the client:

Our client is a leading Brand consulting agency, headquartered in Malaysia.

As a sourcing specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of their promotional campaigns by sourcing high quality suppliers, negotiating cost-effective contracts and managing project timelines efficiently.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist Senior / sourcing managers in mass sourcing activities to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery items.
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing suppliers.
• Obtain competitive quotes and manage the logistics of sample parcels from China to Vietnam/Malaysia, ensuring timely arrivals.
• Negotiate terms regarding price, quantity and schedules with suppliers.
• Handle sourcing for smaller-value projects independently.
• Prepare comparative analysis of supplier quotes and assist in making informed supplier selections.
• Stay abreast of market trends and contribute innovative ideas to enhance project success.
• Manage multiple projects timelines, ensuring all the stakeholder requirements are met promptly.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, International Business, Supply Chain or related field
• Fresh graduates are encourages to apply; minimum 1 year experience preferred
• Understanding of sourcing methodologies and market analysis.
• Exceptional negotiation and influence skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive "can do" attitude.
• Proficiency in Chinese & English preferred
