The role will work independently to source for new suppliers according to Direct & Indirect requirements.
Person should possess knowledge and experience in:
Understand and negotiate Terms and Conditions of Purchase with Suppliers.
Evaluate quotations, create competitive advantage for best price, lead time and delivery terms.
Ensure compliance with Company’s guidelines and policies.
Identify cost savings opportunities and manages cost reduction activities to achieve annual cost reduction KPIs.
Ensure compliance with Sourcing and Procurement policies of the organization.
Prepare and execute contracts as well as perform post-award administration (eg. Negotiating, issuing change orders, and contract close-outs.)
Understand the concept of Purchase Requisition, Sourcing, quotation evaluation, till Purchase order placement to Supplier.
Degree / Diploma in Procurement & Sourcing / Supply Chain Management / Business Administration.
Minimum one (1) year experience in a Strategic Sourcing in Direct and / or Indirect procurement business environment, knowledge in field instruments or Analyser system or other Engineering industry Sourcing and Procurement will be an advantage and preferable.
Deliverable-focused, self-motivated with a mindset to excel in a multi-stakeholder environment.
Experience in SAP / HANA / Ariba and other Procurement system / software is an added advantage.
Expert in Excel / BI report knowledge.
Good written, verbal and presentation skills.
Self-motivated and open to changes.
Excellent communicator able to demonstrate communicating effectively with senior management, supplier, and internal stakeholder.
