Team/Role Overview

Join our expanding Citi Global Market Data Sourcing team in Budapest and make your own progress in a supportive and friendly environment! Citi Global Sourcing (CGS) organization supports the end-to-end supplier lifecycle process, from supplier risk assessment, through competitive bidding and selection to contracting and payment. The CGS organization’s purpose is to ensure we manage our supply chain in an efficient and standardized manner through all stages of the supplier lifecycle, leveraging Citi’s scale to optimize the supply chain while ensuring rigorous control.

What you’ll do

• The Sourcing Manager is required to conduct end-to-end sourcing, contract management activities for various stakeholders across all regions for Market Data service.
• Liaise with the sourcing managers within the Market Data Sourcing team and Business Expense Transparency team any time necessary and follow the Market Data category strategy
• Conduct stakeholder meetings to understand project requirements and undertake in depth analysis of current spend. Participate in the development of accurate and timely plans to deliver supplier cost reduction and avoidance opportunities, maintaining strong supplier and internal client relationships.
• Apply appropriate sourcing levers to programmes, such benchmarking, tendering, process improvement, volume leverage, supplier consolidation and products/service substitution/elimination to reduce cost and provide service improvements in the timely fulfilment of business needs.
• Understand supplier market dynamics for business requirements and manage suppliers and business clients during sourcing process.
• Conduct supplier commercial and contract language negotiations
• Guide business through Citi Third Party Management process and coordinate all procedural requirements including Citi’s approved supplier program, supplier diversity, contract management system, procure-to -pay system. Understand and follow all audit and compliance requirements.

What we’ll need from you

• Minimum 3 years employment in multinational / shared services environment OR 5 years regardless the field
• Experience in dealing with stakeholder both internal and external.
• Familiarity with Market Data Products/Services and Suppliers
• Experience with AI tools
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Strong sourcing, contract negotiation and vendor management experience
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Advance communication skills – able to use various communication channels, shape their message in appropriate manner for various audiences including stakeholders.
• Proactivity. Decision-making and problem-solving skills
