We are looking for a Sourcing Manager to support Singtel's Sales and Pricing teams in sourcing competitive last-mile services across international markets. You will play an important role in strengthening the competitiveness of our international data services by developing market benchmarks, working with partners to optimise cost structures and supporting sourcing requirements across multiple countries.

You will also contribute to automation, AI and process-improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and sourcing effectiveness.

Make an Impact by:

  1. Sourcing & Quotation Management
  • Provide timely day-to-day responses to sourcing and quotation requests, meeting agreed turnaround-time and service KPIs.
  • Source competitive last-mile services to support international data opportunities.
  • Manage sourcing requirements across multiple countries and markets.
  • Work closely with Sales and Pricing teams to understand requirements and provide appropriate sourcing support.
  • Participate in joint discussions with Account Managers to better understand customer requirements.
  1. Market Benchmarking & Cost Competitiveness
  • Establish and maintain last-mile market benchmarks to assess the competitiveness of partner costs.
  • Analyse available market and partner pricing information to identify competitive sourcing options.
  • Support Pricing teams with relevant cost and market information to strengthen price competitiveness.
  • Investigate alternative sourcing options when existing costs are not commercially competitive.
  • Apply market knowledge and commercial judgement to address pricing and sourcing challenges.
  1. Partner & Global Alliance Management
  • Work closely with partners and Global Alliance teams to achieve competitive cost structures.
  • Build effective working relationships with partners to facilitate sourcing discussions and cost escalations.
  • Negotiate with partners to improve commercial outcomes while supporting service requirements.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders when partner costs, solutions or commercial conditions require further review.
  1. Cost Optimisation & Product Margin
  • Execute cost-reduction initiatives in partnership with Product and Global Alliance teams to improve product margins.
  • Support proactive renewal and other cost-optimisation activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sourcing efficiency and overall cost competitiveness.
  • Provide sourcing insights to support commercially sustainable solutions.
  1. Market, Regulatory & Governance Knowledge
  • Develop knowledge of last-mile services and sourcing conditions across assigned countries.
  • Understand relevant in-country regulatory and governance requirements.
  • Serve as a sourcing subject matter resource to Product and Pricing teams on assigned markets.
  • Apply appropriate governance requirements when evaluating sourcing options and partner proposals.
  • Escalate decisions involving commercial exceptions or deviations from agreed requirements through the appropriate approval channels.
  1. Automation, AI & Process Improvement
  • Support automation initiatives and process-improvement projects aimed at improving productivity.
  • Participate in relevant AI-enabled sourcing or workflow initiatives.
  • Identify repetitive or manual activities that may benefit from automation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve sourcing processes, data use and operational efficiency.

Skills for Success

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Studies, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in bid management, pricing, sourcing, commercial operations and/or the ICT industry.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate pricing, cost and market information.
  • Good commercial and negotiation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder and partner-management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage sourcing activities across multiple countries and requirements.
  • Ability to prioritise work and deliver within critical timelines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify alternative sourcing or commercial approaches.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Experience in the telecommunications or ICT industry.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications products and last-mile services.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and business-intelligence tools.
  • Exposure to automation, AI or machine-learning applications relevant to business operations.
  • Interest in using emerging technologies to improve sourcing productivity and decision-making.
