We are looking for a Sourcing Manager to join our Hydrometallurgy Sourcing Team within the Minerals Business Area.
The purpose of this role is to improve plant area profitability and support business growth by developing a cost-competitive, high-quality, and innovative supplier base and by driving improvement in availability and lead times.
In this role, you will support solution sales teams during the proposal phase and manage a global network of third-party suppliers to ensure competitive customer offerings and successful project execution. You will develop and implement sourcing strategies for third-party plant equipment, aligned with business priorities and growth objectives, and translate these into actionable procurement roadmaps.
You will drive supplier development, lead commercial negotiations, manage supplier performance, and support project delivery activities. Working closely with Sales & Proposals, Project Management, Product Groups, Engineering, and R&D, you will act as a key procurement partner across the organization. In addition, you will collaborate with Supplier Quality and Market Area Procurement teams to implement sourcing initiatives, mitigate risks, and continuously improve supplier performance.
You will play a meaningful role within BA Minerals Global Procurement, contributing to the success of our sales and project delivery activities. You will report to Tuomas Tanskanen, Sourcing Director, Hydrometallurgy.
