Global Operations

Global Operations is a complex and diverse organization within the company which is responsible for product fulfilment to all our customers from end to end. Implements local and regional savings strategies that return savings versus managed expenses. Strategic procurement methodology, SRM, category management, and contract management implementation where applicable.

Principal Responsibilities

• Ideation, development, implementation and coordination of Cost imprement iniatives within Teleflex (CIP)
• Consolidates information with other Sourcing specialists to define the regional and global strategy.
• Assists, creates, and reviews bids and performs supplier selection.
• Implements strategic sourcing processes, where applicable.
• Coordinates cross-functional teams to develop, implement and coordinate Savings/category strategy.
• Controls expenses and support the culture of long-term savings in purchasing costs.
• Performs risk management for supply agreements and contracts.
• Ensures compliance with purchasing policies.
• Complies with safety and corporate regulations on business ethics.

Education / Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering, administration or other relevant field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Purchasing working in Sourcing strategies or category management.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Proficiency in SAP, Agile and APICS systems (preferred).
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 13485.
