Asia Sourcing Office Mandate: Finding potential suppliers across Asia, executing initial due diligence, and conducting targeted regional benchmarking.
Sourcing & Analysis: Overseeing compliant global and regional sourcing, benchmarking (RfX), and detailed procurement analyses alongside NPI and Delivery managers.
Contracts & SLAs: Ensuring template-based contract execution (CDAs, SOWs), repository health, and defining KPIs to guarantee on-time, in-full (OTIF) portfolio delivery.
myBuy Governance: Serving as Business Capability Lead (BCL) to drive platform governance, policy, continuous improvement, and knowledge management alongside RSS.
Conflict & Exposure: Resolving matrix priority and supplier selection conflicts, representing DOP at external events, and delivering monthly/quarterly updates to executive leadership (CoE, Category, Delivery, and DPLT).
Who you are
We look for leaders who can drive high-performance cultures, break down silos, and eliminate operational friction.
Education: University degree (Business/Life Sciences required); MBA and CIPS certification highly preferred.
Experience: 5-7+ years in Direct Procurement (Medtech, Automotive, etc.), including 3-5 years within a Shared Service or CoE environment.
Market Expertise: Strong regional sourcing and NPI experience across complex direct categories (EMS/e-components, Plastics/Packaging, or Biologics/Chemicals).
AI & Digitalization: You have a strong affinity to explore AI-driven solutions broadly, particularly regarding the digital transformation of operations (Digital 2.0 / Industry 4.0), and encourage your team to achieve advanced knowledge in AI applications.
Systems & Analytics: Deep understanding of the Demand-to-Pay process, ERP systems (specifically SAP), and BI tools (like Tableau).
Mindset & Soft Skills: A "process-first" Lean/Six Sigma thinker focused on removing sourcing friction. Expert in conflict resolution and executive relationship management.
Mentorship & Global Leadership: Proven track record of coaching diverse, remote teams globally. Demonstrates high cultural intelligence to drive results in a matrix environment.
