
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Sourcing & Transactional Execution Support
Support RFQ/RFP processes including supplier outreach, bid tracking, and data consolidation
Assist with issue resolution (pricing, delivery, invoicing)
Coordinate supplier communication for documentation, samples, and data requests
Maintain organized sourcing documentation and category files
Monitor assist with resolution of basic supply or delivery issues
Pricing, Spend & Data Analysis
Perform spend analysis, data cleansing, and maintain reporting accuracy
Generate reports and dashboards using Excel, Tableau, and other tools
Support development and maintenance of standardized pricing analysis
Assist in evaluating supplier price changes and cost impact analysis
Maintain pricing and validate data consistency across systems
Supplier Data, Performance & Relationship Support
Maintain accurate supplier records, pricing, contracts, and vendor master data
Support supplier onboarding and documentation tracking
Assist in updating supplier scorecards (cost, quality, service, delivery)
Help analyze supplier performance trends and prepare summaries
Support communication with suppliers and issue resolution
Financial, Invoice & Savings Tracking Support
Review and help resolve invoice discrepancies in coordination with Accounts Payable and suppliers
Assist with tracking and documenting cost savings and sourcing projects
Support Finance with validation of reported savings where needed
Maintain accurate records of pricing, savings, and project data
Systems, Process & Digital Enablement Support
Maintain data integrity across procurement systems (ERP, pricing databases, sourcing tools)
Support eBusiness initiatives such as eRFx events and consignment programs
Assist in supplier enablement and support for digital tools and platforms
Ensure adherence to procurement policies, processes, workflows, and documentation standards
Cross-Functional & Category Support
Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, and Operations to gather data and support initiatives
Assist with category-level activities including reporting, project tracking, and documentation
Support market research, benchmarking, and basic cost modeling activities
Provide timely data and reporting support in response to stakeholder requests
Escalate issues, risks, or data inconsistencies to sourcing managers as needed
Position Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or other related field.
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage data, follow processes, and work in a structured environment.
2 years of relevant experience
Preferred:
Exposure to manufacturing, chemicals, or supply chain environments.
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) or sourcing tools.
Technical Procurement Basic understanding of procurement processes
Negotiation & Influence Supports negotiations and builds relationships with internal stakeholders.
Chemical / Technical Knowledge Foundational understanding of products and raw material inputs.
Financial & Analytical Performs basic spend analysis and reporting; identifies data trends.
Digital & Data Analytics Proficient in Excel; working knowledge of ERP and reporting tools.
Risk & Compliance Follows policies and maintains documentation discipline.
Leadership & Collaboration Strong teamwork, responsiveness, and customer orientation.
