Driven by the human side of hospitality, we deliver service with passion, loyalty with purpose, and experiences that truly connect.

Together We Thrive—bringing quality, value, and amazing hospitality to every guest, every stay, across 1000+ properties in eight countries and counting.

The Source to Pay (S2P) Business Systems Manager is accountable for the strategic ownership, roadmap, and execution of Sonesta’s end‑to‑end sourcing‑to‑payment ecosystem, including sourcing, contract and vendor management, procurement, invoicing, payments, and cash visibility.
This role acts as the business owner and primary point of accountability for S2P capabilities, serving as functional owner, systems strategist, and initiative lead for S2P platforms and workflows. The role partners closely with Sourcing, Finance, Operations, IT, and external vendors to identify opportunities, lead cross‑functional change, and translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
With a focus on adoption, governance, analytics, and continuous improvement, this position ensures S2P systems enable business outcomes, improve financial insight, and support informed decision‑making. This role is highly visible, requires strong executive‑level communication, and emphasizes leadership through influence and results, not transactional processing.

  • Support sourcing and vendor/labor management (VMS) needs through system design and integration

  • Facilitate key stakeholder alignment by clearly communicating project objectives, tradeoffs, risks, and progress

  • Drive adoption of tools and processes that reinforce P2P/S2P policy compliance

  • Define project objectives, success metrics, and post-implementation performance tracking

R eporting, Analytics & Cash Visibility

  • Develop reporting and dashboards for spend, contracts, cycle times, exceptions, and supplier compliance

  • Enhance commitment, accrual, and liability visibility to support cash forecasting

  • Translate complex S2P data into clear, decision‑ready insights, tailoring communication for executive, finance, and operational audiences

Strategic AP Enablement

  • Partner with Accounts Payable leadership as a trusted advisor, ensuring systems, controls, and data support efficient operations, compliance, and scalability

  • Ensure S2P workflows support internal controls, GAAP compliance, and efficient processing

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Source-to-Pay, Procure-to-Pay, or other related Financial Systems

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Information Systems

  • Experience acting as a systems owner or functional analyst for AP, procurement or ERP platforms

  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise‑level initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

  • Experience partnering directly with senior leaders to define requirements, influence decisions, and drive adoption

  • Strong understanding of sourcing, contract management, P2P workflows, and payment controls

  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and deliver results through cross‑functional teams without direct authority

Core Competencies
