Our client, a leader in the global healthcare sector, is
seeking a Source to Pay (STP) Data Migration Business Lead to support a
large-scale S/4HANA transformation program. This role will be responsible for
coordinating and driving end-to-end data migration activities across multiple
business units and legacy systems, ensuring the successful transition of
critical procurement and finance data into a centralized S/4HANA environment.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in orchestrating
data migration strategy, governance, cleansing, validation, testing, and
deployment readiness activities while working closely with business
stakeholders, IT teams, PMO functions, and implementation partners. This
position is critical to ensuring data integrity, operational continuity, and
successful ERP adoption through a structured and controlled migration approach.
This is a contractual role which will run through 2026, with likelihood of
extension well into 2027.
Key Responsibilities:

Define and coordinate the STP data migration strategy, governance, scope, timelines, and deployment readiness activities

Develop integrated migration plans aligned with overall program milestones and business priorities

Coordinate migration activities across business teams, workstreams, technical teams, and external partners

Establish data governance principles, ownership, and accountability across data domains

Drive data cleansing initiatives and ensure data quality issues, inconsistencies, and gaps are proactively resolved

Coordinate source-to-target mapping activities across multiple legacy ERP systems into S/4HANA data structures

Support extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities alongside technical teams

Ensure migration cycles, cutover activities, and deployment readiness activities are executed effectively

Coordinate mock migrations, testing, UAT, and data validation activities

Ensure migrated data meets business, operational, and reporting requirements before go-live

Track and resolve reconciliation gaps, defects, and migration-related issues while supporting sign-off activities

Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, deployment leads, and system integrators for migration activities

Facilitate alignment across procurement, finance, operations, and master data teams

Provide regular progress updates, risk visibility, and escalation support to leadership and governance forums

Support deployment cutover planning and execution across implementation waves

Coordinate hypercare support for migration-related issues following go-live

Capture lessons learned and contributed to continuous improvement of migration processes and governance
