Job Description

The S&OP Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning process, ensuring alignment between commercial strategy, demand forecasting, supply capabilities, and financial targets.

This role requires a strong balance between analytical rigor and brand sensitivity ensuring product availability, optimized inventory levels, and service excellence without compromising exclusivity or brand positioning.

The role acts as a strategic business partner to Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the S&OP Process

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve the monthly S&OP cycle.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings (Demand Review, Supply Review, Pre-S&OP, Executive S&OP).
  • Ensure alignment between sales forecasts, supply constraints, and financial objectives.
  • Present consolidated scenarios and risks to leadership.

Demand Planning & Forecasting

  • Own the demand planning process across all channels (Retail, Wholesale, E-commerce).
  • Develop statistical and judgmental forecasts incorporating:
  • Historical sales data
  • Market trends
  • Product launches
  • Promotional calendars
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Commercial teams to integrate new product introductions and limited editions
  • Monitor forecast accuracy (MAPE, BIAS) and implement corrective actions.

Supply & Inventory Management

  • Partner with Supply teams and distribution centers to ensure optimal product allocation.
  • Balance service level targets with inventory optimization.
  • Manage stock allocation strategies
  • Prevent stock-outs on hero SKUs while controlling overstock and obsolescence risk.

Financial Alignment

  • Ensure the demand plan aligns with financial budgets and latest estimates.
  • Provide volume and revenue projections to Finance.
  • Lead scenario planning to mitigate risks (supply disruption, over-demand, underperformance).
  • Support margin optimization through stock strategy.

Performance & KPI Management

  • Track and report:
  • Forecast Accuracy
  • Fill Rate / Service Level
  • Inventory Turns
  • Days of Inventory on Hand (DOH)
  • Obsolescence & Write-offs
  • Identify gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Product Lifecycle & Launch Management

  • Coordinate forecasting and supply planning for new product launches and limited collections.
  • Manage end-of-life planning to minimize excess inventory.
  • Work closely with global brand teams to ensure local execution aligns with global strategy.

Systems & Process Optimization

  • Ensure data integrity across ERP and reporting systems.
  • Develop dashboards for executive visibility.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in S&OP, Demand Planning, or Supply Chain roles.
  • Experience in luxury, fashion, beauty, or premium consumer goods is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and planning systems expertise.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional processes.
  • Financial acumen and strong business orientation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail with strategic thinking capability.
  • Fluent Spanish and English are required; French is a plus.
