We are seeking a caring, dependable sonographer to join our patient-centered teamThe available position requires a technologist willing to perform general radiography, OB, Vascular, U/S Guided Biopsy/Special Procedure studies, and other duties as necessary. Basic computer skills, EMR familiarity, effective communication skills, the ability to work independently and to conduct oneself in a professional setting are required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• General
• OB
• Vascular,
• U/S Guided Biopsy/Special Procedure studies
• Communicates to the patient the process that the patient will undergo.
• Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
• Complete all computer data entry requirements to assure timely completion and availability of study for physician.
• Participate in quality improvement projects. Attend training and meetings as required
• Maintains awareness of current quality and safety measures on the unit and follows guidelines or reporting measures to ensure safety of patients, visitors, and staff.
• Knowledge and skills in quality improvement and research methodologies.
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Other Requirements:

• ARDMS or Registry Eligible
• BCLS
• Applicants must be proficient in General, OB, Vascular, and U/S Guided Biopsy/Special Procedure studies
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Flexible multi-tasking ability with strong computer skills required
• A positive patient oriented individual
• Must have the capacity to handle the physical and mental challenges of the position
• Flexible working hours.
