🍷 Deliver an Outstanding Guest Experience
Create authentic and memorable experiences, embodying the warmth and generosity of Italian hospitality.
Confidently guide guests through the food and wine menu, recommending thoughtful wine pairings.
Build strong relationships with guests by recognizing preferences, creating personalized experiences, and handling feedback professionally.
📚 Be the Wine Expert
Act as the restaurant's wine reference point, sharing your expertise with guests and the team.
Train and support colleagues on wine knowledge, service techniques, and pairing recommendations.
Recognized Sommelier certification (e.g., WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, AIS, or equivalent).
Understanding of the supplier chain and ordering
🍾 Manage the Wine Program
Oversee the organization and maintenance of the wine cellar and wine list.
Ensure proper storage conditions, stock rotation (FIFO), and optimal serving temperatures.
Monitor inventory, conduct regular stock counts, manage purchasing, and collaborate with suppliers to maintain availability while controlling costs and minimizing waste.
📈 Contribute to Business Performance
Support the overall Food & Beverage operation whenever required.
Contribute to achieving departmental revenue and profitability objectives through effective wine management and operational excellence.
