About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sommelier to join the team. The ideal candidate must have 2-5 years of previous Sommelier experience in a fine dining setting, must be a self-starter, possess a positive attitude and be comfortable working alongside a team of Food & Beverage professionals.

They must possess the ability to advise the guest on wine selection and to supervise the day-to-day wine service. They will be responsible for selecting and consolidating the wine list by adhering to the budget and beverage cost, the requests of the guests and the concept of the outlet. They will conduct staff training on product knowledge with a weekly frequency and work closely with Lido Restaurant General Manager and Lido Restaurant Chef for product development. In addition, they will be responsible for weekly and monthly wine inventories of all F&B outlets and for creating, modifying and printing the wine list.

Experience with and knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines is highly preferred.

Schedule & Hours:

• Full Time (Days, evenings, overnights, or weekends.)
