We are excited to welcome a Solva Onboarding Coordinator who can help create a smooth, consistent, and meaningful onboarding experience for colleagues joining our Business Development and Solva teams. This is a global role and can be based in any country.


As Solva Onboarding Coordinator, you will help new hires and internal transfers feel welcomed, prepared, and connected from day one. In this role, you will work closely with HR, leaders, and business stakeholders across regions to make sure each colleague has the information, tools, training, relationships, and follow-up they need to contribute with confidence. The role may require international travel from time to time.

Key responsibilities of the role:

Onboarding program management

• Support the end-to-end onboarding journey for colleagues joining Business Development and Solva functions.

• Maintain clear onboarding roadmaps, checklists, and milestone plans from pre-boarding through 30, 60, 90, and 180 days.

• Share clear onboarding updates with leaders and HR, including progress, risks, dependencies, and key milestones.

New hire and transfer integration

• Be a welcoming and practical point of contact for new hires and internal transfers during their initial onboarding period.

• Help create positive first connections through welcome communications, role introductions, stakeholder meetings, and functional orientation activities.

• Support both external hires and employees moving into new roles across Solva and Business Development.

Cross-functional coordination

• Collaborate with HR, hiring managers, IT, L&D, and business stakeholders to help ensure onboarding readiness before the start date.

• Ensure access, equipment, training assignments, onboarding sessions, and role-specific materials are in place.

• Notice and raise any gaps or delays that may affect employee readiness or business continuity.

Learning and capability enablement

• Align role-based onboarding content with Solva ways of working, tools, governance, process expectations, and customer journey understanding.

• Work together with the Solva L&D / Upskilling Coordinator to connect onboarding with ongoing capability-building programs.

• Keep onboarding materials current, accessible, and aligned with the evolving Solva operating model.

Stakeholder connection and engagement

• Coordinate buddy, mentor, or peer-support assignments where relevant.

• Create inclusive opportunities for new colleagues to connect with Solva leaders, project teams, and subject matter experts.

• Listen to feedback from employees and hiring managers and turn their insights into practical onboarding improvements.

Reporting and continuous improvement

• Track onboarding completion, readiness milestones, feedback, and improvement actions.

• Prepare concise onboarding updates for HR and business stakeholders.

• Continuously improve templates, process flows, communication, and the overall onboarding experience.

Required Competencies:

• Clear communication and the confidence to guide conversations and facilitate sessions.

• Strong project coordination skills with attention to timelines, details, and dependencies.

• A detail-oriented mindset and a structured way of working.

• Curiosity, openness to change, and a genuine interest in improving how things work.

• Comfort working with colleagues across cultures, countries, and stakeholder groups.

• Comfortable using Microsoft 365 and tracking tools to manage progress and follow-up.

• Familiarity with HR systems and/or learning platforms would be helpful, but is not essential.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in HR, onboarding, talent management, learning coordination, project coordination, employee experience, or a related business support role.
  • Experience coordinating onboarding or employee integration across multiple stakeholders and locations.
  • Experience working in a global, regional, or cross-functional environment is preferred.
  • Experience supporting sales, business development, solutions, transformation, or growth initiatives is an advantage.

Qualification:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field is preferred.
  • We also welcome equivalent practical experience in onboarding, HR operations, learning coordination, or business project coordination.
