About the Job

This is a unique opportunity for students who want to gain hands-on experience in Data Science by participating in real-world projects and collaborating directly with the Technology team. Dadosfera's Solutions Engineering team works with open data and real customer data to create prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and demonstrations that showcase how Data Science can drive impact across different industries, including Finance, Healthcare, and Technology.

The intern will have the opportunity to work closely with the company's technical leadership, contribute to innovative projects, and support Developer Relations and Community initiatives, including meetups, webinars, and training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation of demonstrations and exploratory analyses using SQL and data analysis tools.
• Assist in developing queries, reports, and visualizations to support projects.
• Perform technical activities such as environment setup, task automation, and cloud infrastructure support under the guidance of the technical team.
• Collaborate in building prototypes and proof-of-concepts using real-world and public datasets.
• Support technical community initiatives, events, training sessions, and content creation activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related areas).
• Basic knowledge of Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Visualization, Python, and SQL.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with different stakeholders.
• Proactive, organized, and eager-to-learn mindset.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Linux, Cloud Computing, and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of Data Lake and Data Warehouse concepts.
• Participation in academic projects, undergraduate research, hackathons, or technology communities.
