In order to support its growth in South Korea, ATEME is recruiting a Solutions Engineer

Mission

To support our strategic growth plans, we are seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer In this role, you will work closely with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to design and implement technical solutions that meet customers' needs, focusing on the video broadcast and streaming sectors. As a trusted technical advisor, you will bridge the gap between sales and delivery, ensuring smooth project execution and successful implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to design solutions aligned with customers’ business requirements and objectives.

• Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, accessible manner, ensuring all stakeholders have a thorough understanding of project plans.

• Develop and finalize detailed implementation roadmaps and contribute to creating Statements of Work (SOW) for new projects.

• Lead the technical aspects of RFP processes, including scoping solutions, assessing customer needs, and recommending optimized solutions that maximize value for both the client and Ateme.

• Set up and manage proof-of-concept (POC) environments and product demos in customer environments to showcase solution capabilities.

• Deliver high-impact presentations, demonstrations, and discussions, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to clients.

• Drive the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial qualification to contract execution and close, ensuring alignment across all stages.

• Represent Ateme at key industry forums, trade shows, and other events, demonstrating expertise in Ateme technology.

• Provide systems and technical training to key customers, enhancing their understanding of Ateme solutions.

• Act as a liaison between sales and delivery teams to ensure smooth project execution, delivering successful outcomes that meet customer expectations.

Required qualifications

• Industry experience: Minimum 5 years in the video broadcast industry, with expertise in transcoding, video packaging, and Content Delivery Networks (CDN).

• Pre-sales experience: At least 3 years in a pre-sales or solutions engineering role, ideally within the video or streaming industry.

• Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• Technical skills: Solid knowledge of IP networking, Linux system administration, and hands-on experience with broadcast and streaming technologies.

• Communication skills: Strong communication abilities, capable of explaining technical information to diverse audiences.

• Problem-Solving skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Travel flexibility: Willingness to travel within South Korea and the APAC region for short trips.

• Team collaboration: Experience working in a multi-cultural environment, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams.

• Fluent in Korean and English
