The role combines technical depth, commercial awareness, and relationship building, with meaningful ownership over regional market development. Based in Sydney, you’ll work across APAC and have the support of a global solutions organization and international network of experts.
Accountabilities
- Lead end-to-end solution design for warehouse automation opportunities, translating customer requirements into validated concepts through operational analysis, material flow modelling, simulations, 3D visualisations, and customer presentations.
- Analyze customer operations and logistics requirements to develop scalable solutions aligned with operational objectives and commercial considerations.
- Build expertise in warehouse automation technologies, products, and integration strategies, applying broader knowledge of warehousing and intralogistics to solution development.

- Act as a technical advisor to customers, partners, and commercial teams, helping stakeholders understand solution capabilities, requirements, and potential business value.
- Educate and enable customers and partners through technical training, product updates, best-practice guidance, and ongoing support.
- Help partners develop the knowledge and capabilities required to independently create effective warehouse automation solutions.
- Collaborate with regional and global solutions, commercial, product, and R&D teams to continuously improve solution development practices and market support.
- Travel across APAC as required for customer, partner, and internal engagements, with flexibility to work across different time zones.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of professional experience in solution design, technical consulting, warehouse automation, intralogistics, or another comparable customer-facing technical environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform operational data and customer requirements into practical, scalable, and commercially viable solutions.
- Demonstrated experience developing customer-facing technical proposals using simulations, visualisations, cost estimates, modelling, and structured technical documentation.
- Strong commercial awareness and experience supporting sales or commercial teams during complex and strategic customer opportunities.
- Solid understanding of warehouse and logistics operations, ideally including ASRS, material flow, sorting, packaging, or related automation technologies.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and confidently to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong presentation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Comfortable working collaboratively across regional and international teams while also taking ownership of projects and initiatives.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the APAC region as required.
