We are looking for a Solutions Consultant to join our high-performing Integrated Solutions team, partnering with our largest national accounts to deliver transformative, data-driven solutions.
As a Solutions Consultant, you will act as a premier subject matter expert and strategic business partner, collaborating on the design of complex solutions for our top enterprise customers. By bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and customer business drivers, you will directly influence multi-million dollar deals and drive our landmark DP3 platform migration programme.
This is a high-impact, national role where your consultative expertise will help shape the future of risk, verification, and financial technology in Australia and New Zealand.
This role can be done either as a full time position or as a part-time role at 3 days per week.
What You’ll Do
Identify Complex Solutions: Carry out initial customer needs analyses to understand complex challenges and map customer requirements as part of strategic business transformations.
Qualify & Document Concepts: Create, validate, and document robust Solution Concepts, working closely with the Sales team and clients to iterate designs.
Lead Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with internal Equifax stakeholders (including Product Management, BTS, and Delivery teams) to assess, validate, and quantify solution scopes.
Manage Pre-Sale to Delivery Transitions: Act as a critical stakeholder and Subject Matter Expert in transitioning solutions from pre-sale design to technical project development.
Mitigate Risk & Guide Change: Assess operational risks and impacts of proposed solutions, participating in steering committees to manage client-side change management through to final acceptance.
Drive Platform Migrations: Engage customers on current contracts to plan, secure commitments for, and execute migrations to our target-state DP3 platform.
Uncover Upsell Opportunities: Conduct current-state analyses of customer systems to identify and action upsell opportunities for expanded DP3 functionality and data sources.
Identify & Manage Risk Accounts: Spot migration-at-risk customers early and collaborate with senior leadership to design proactive engagement approaches.
Partner for Revenue Growth: Collaborate with Strategic Relationship Managers and Business Development Managers to identify opportunities, develop client insights, and achieve sales targets.
Represent Equifax in the Industry: Deliver insights back to internal product/marketing teams and present on behalf of Equifax at major industry forums and conferences.
What Experience You Need
6+ Years of Sector Experience: Proven business, sales, or technical consulting experience within the financial services, insurance, banking, or telecommunications sectors.
Solution-Based Sales Track Record: Demonstrated experience in consultative sales, with a history of developing and presenting multi-million dollar, multi-year solutions.
Technical & Diagnostic Capability: Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, with proven technical ability in complex data environments, API integrations, or platform architecture.
Project & Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage complex project deliverables, assess operational risk, and negotiate for cross-functional resources in a matrixed environment.
Executive-Level Communication: Exceptional presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical, C-suite audiences.

Domain Expertise: Advanced knowledge of credit risk, fraud mitigation, identity verification, and relevant regulatory frameworks within ANZ.
Industry Certifications: Completion of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) Diploma of Financial Services (or equivalent).

Migration Project History: Hands-on experience advising enterprise clients through legacy-to-cloud data platform migrations.
