
We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our Performance Advertising team and help shape the future of app-install and performance marketing solutions across Opera's advertising ecosystem.
This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, machine learning, and commercial teams. You will serve as a subject matter expert on advertising systems, helping define and optimize solutions across campaign delivery, bidding, targeting, attribution, measurement, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate combines a deep understanding of the mobile advertising ecosystem with strong technical expertise and the ability to translate complex advertising challenges into scalable solutions.
You will play a key role in driving advertiser success, improving campaign performance, and influencing the evolution of our advertising platform.
Role and Responsibilities:
Act as a technical and business expert for performance advertising products, with a focus on app-install and conversion-driven campaigns.
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Machine Learning teams to define and improve advertising solutions across bidding, ranking, campaign delivery, targeting, and optimization systems.
Provide subject matter expertise on mobile advertising, attribution, SKAdNetwork, MMP integrations, privacy frameworks, and measurement methodologies.
Analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve advertiser outcomes, including ROI, ROAS, retention, and user quality.
Translate advertiser and market requirements into scalable product and technical recommendations.
Support the design and implementation of optimization strategies, leveraging machine learning models, conversion signals, and performance metrics.
Collaborate with commercial and customer-facing teams to troubleshoot complex campaign challenges and provide strategic guidance to key partners.
Drive cross-functional initiatives to enhance platform capabilities, operational efficiency, and overall advertising performance.
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments within the AdTech and mobile advertising ecosystem.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of experience within AdTech, performance advertising, mobile advertising, or related technology domains.
Strong understanding of app-install advertising, programmatic advertising, DSPs, ad exchanges, real-time bidding (RTB), attribution, and campaign optimization.
Experience working with advertising platforms and machine learning-driven systems, including CTR/CVR prediction, ranking, bidding, budget pacing, or auction mechanisms.
Deep knowledge of mobile measurement and attribution ecosystems, including MMPs, SKAdNetwork, privacy frameworks, and conversion tracking methodologies.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate complex concepts into actionable recommendations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Experience partnering with engineering, product, data science, and commercial teams in a fast-paced environment.
