SHI's Network & Security Solutions Architects will represent SHI as the trusted advisor on all areas of Networking (i.e., routing, switching, load balancing, VXLAN, SDWAN, firewalls, etc.) & Network Security (e.g., NGFW / VPN / NAC / SASE / etc.). They will possess skillsets related to analyzing, designing, and implementing Security, Cloud, and Data Center (on-prem / hybrid) Network services. This includes initiating and participating in projects comprised of both technical and non-technical team members. Consultants will possess excellent communication & collaboration skills and the ability to produce professional presentations intended to influence at all levels of an organization.

Collect,produce,and update deployment and design documentation
Develop, update, andcontinually improveNetwork & Security Serviceofferings
Act as a trusted advisor for ourtechnical sales teams,assistwith opportunity discovery,participateincustomersolution / engagement scoping,and sales enablementefforts
Assistsales pre-salesteamsinidentifyingand closing opportunities through customermeetings and presentations
Identify, develop, anddocumentbest practicesrecommendations (people/processtechnology), andassistwithstrategy & roadmapplanning
Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to technical and executiveCustomerstakeholders through written deliverables and verbal presentations
Evangelize SHINetwork & Security Service Offeringsacross SHI and Partner community through webinars, meetups, and conferences
Develop reports,lessons learned,presentations andsupportingdocumentationfor bothCustomerengagementsand internal discussions
Stay current onnew technology, trends, and market behavior by studying market trends and the industrylandscape

Skill Level Requirements
Strong proficiency in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Solid understanding of microservices, APIs, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Expertise in solution design across enterprise systems, integration platforms, and data layers.
Strong background in system security, data privacy, and compliance.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-oriented language.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
Proficient in software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Available to travel to client sites upon reasonable request
Preferred certifications: Cisco – CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Cloud Networking Certifications (AWS / Azure), Palo Alto – PCNSE
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $100,000 - $175,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
