In this role, you'll:

The Digital Experience Architect will be responsible for designing and governing end to end technology solutions that support digital experience, content management, communication management, and template management capabilities. The role ensures that solutions are scalable, secure, reusable, and aligned with business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and customer experience goals.

This role acts as a key bridge between business stakeholders, delivery teams, and platform vendors, translating business needs into robust, future proof solution designs.

Duties & Responsibilities will include (not limited to):

  • Solution Architecture & Design - Defining and owning end to end solution architectures across Digital Experience platforms and content ecosystems. Translating business, experience, and communication requirements into logical and physical solution designs
  • Digital Experience - Ensuring seamless integration between front end digital experiences and back end content, communication, and data services
  • Content Management – Designing content models, metadata strategies, taxonomies, and lifecycle management
  • Integration & Delivery Support - Integration patterns between CMS, communication platforms, CRM, ERP, and data platforms
  • Design identity-driven experiences across B2C, B2B, and internal users
  • Define experience orchestration layer (BFF/aggregation patterns)
  • Ensure multi-channel consistency across digital, assisted and partner channels
  • Enable data-driven experience using unified customer and product views

Key deliverables will include:

  • Solution architecture designs and diagrams
  • Technology and platform recommendations
  • Integration and data flow specifications
  • Non functional and quality attributes definition
  • Architecture decision records and design assurance outputs

About you

For you to be successful within this role you should meet with all, or most of the following criteria:

  • At least 5+ years experience as a Solution Architect, specifically on enterprise digital or content driven platforms
  • Strong understanding of Digital Experience Platforms (DXP) and CMS architectures
  • Experience designing content and communication management solutions
  • Strong integration architecture experience (APIs, events, middleware)
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex solutions to both technical and non technical audiences
  • Experience designing API orchestration/BFF layers for digital experience
  • Strong understanding of identity federation (OIDC, OAuth, B2C/B2B patterns)
  • Experience with event-driven architectures supporting customer journeys
  • Ability to design end-to-end journeys across multiple systems and channels

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with leading CMS/DXP platforms (e.g. Adobe, Sitecore, AEM, headless CMS)
  • Experience with Customer Communication Management (CCM) platforms
  • Familiarity with template engines and document generation frameworks
  • Experience in highly regulated environments, or large transformation programs
  • TOGAF certification or equivalent
  • Knowledge of secure architecture for public facing digital platforms, identity and access management privacy, compliance, and data protection requirements

This is a fixed-term flexible hybrid role until 31 December 2026. 50% of your time will be office based, with at least 25% of that time based from our offices at Parramatta Square.
