Job Description

This position is part of theincoPatcontentdepartment and works with other teams in thecontentdepartment to create value for customers by defining andmaintaininghigh-quality data content. Specific responsibilities include:

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

  • 2+ years of experience in Data Operations or a related domain

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English, with the ability to effectively collaborate with domestic and international colleagues to drive projects forward

  • Proficiencyin SQL with the ability to independently perform foundational data analysis;

  • Familiarity with common data formats such as XML, DTD, and JSON

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office suite and data visualization tools such as Power BI

  • Strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

It would be great if you also had . . .

  • Knowledge of big data processing technologies and programming tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Python)

  • Understanding of intellectual property and patent-related business

  • Ability to read documentation in languages other than Chinese and English

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless data product delivery

  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, data integrity, and data ingestion

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Algorithm, Analytics, Product Management, and Technology, toidentifyand execute on product enhancement opportunities

  • Develop andmaintaintechnical documentation throughout the full lifecycle of data products, including data dictionariesand versioning

  • Participate in data governance initiatives and produce public-facing documentation such as data dictionaries, API documentation, and release notes

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in data operationsand provide actionable recommendations for product optimization based on customer feedback.

Hours of Work

Full Time, Permanent (Monday-Friday, core business hours)

This is a hybrid position, working 2-3 days a week in one of our Clarivate offices.
