We are looking for a Project Manager (Solution/Presales Phase) for Banking client who will be accountable for defining, approving, and governing customer solutions before any commercial commitment is made.
This role exists to ensure what TechX sells can be delivered, institutionalize consulting knowledge into HubSpot, prevent scope ambiguity and post-sale delivery risk, and enable Sales to close deals within governed boundaries
This is not a Sales role, not a quota-carrying role, and not a delivery PM role It is a decision-owning consulting role within the Customer Value Governance Workflow (CVGW).
Engage with multiple customer stakeholders (Business, IT, Ops, Security)
Analyze customer problems, constraints, and success criteria
Define and validate Use Case Definitions in HubSpot
Identify assumptions, dependencies, and risks early
Compare Solution Options (effort, risk, trade-offs)
Assess product capability fit and identify gaps
Work with Product Sales Support to validate feasibility
Work with SA/ Technical Presale to recommend solutions aligned with customer value and delivery reality
Own and maintain the Decision Log
Clearly document (What is approved? Why it is approved? Under which conditions it may change)
Finalize, version, and maintain the Approved Scope
Ensure all commitments are auditable and traceable
Support Sales during presales discussions without owning revenue targets
Clarify scope boundaries and delivery constraints
Prevent over-commitment and scope creep
Act as the single source of truth for solution decisions
Hand over approved scope and decision rationale to CS-A and delivery teams
Support post-sale scope change analysis through governance workflows
Collaborate with Xops during audits and exception handling
3-5 years in Presales / Solution Consulting, Project Manager / Business Analyst (for complex systems), Delivery / Implementation PM with strong customer exposure, or relevant positions
Experience working with enterprise or mid-large customers
Experience in multi-stakeholder, high-complexity environments
Strong problem structuring and analytical thinking
Ability to make, document, and defend decisions
Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
High discipline in documentation and system usage (CRM, PM tools)
Comfortable pushing back on customers or Sales when necessary
Thinks in systems, trade-offs, and constraints
Values clarity over speed
Treats documentation as part of the job, not overhead
Comfortable operating with clear decision authority
Understands that governance enables scale
