Medication Management Solutions

With our technical capabilities, the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team are able to manage multiple systems and our operational capabilities enable us to have medications available when and where needed, reducing inefficiency and waste for nursing and pharmacy teams.

About the role

The Solution Manager serves as the regional technical and clinical expert responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing integrated Medication Management Solutions across healthcare systems in the META region.

The role partners with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Service, IT, and Customer Success teams to architect end-to-end solutions that address customer challenges in medication safety, infusion management, pharmacy automation, connected care, interoperability, and digital transformation.

The Solution Manager acts as a trusted advisor to healthcare executives, clinical stakeholders, pharmacists, biomedical engineers, and hospital IT teams by translating customer requirements into scalable, compliant, and value-based solutions that improve patient outcomes, workflow efficiency, and operational performance.

Main responsibilities will include:

Solution Design & Architecture

  • Lead technical discovery sessions with customers to understand clinical, operational, and IT requirements.
  • Design end-to-end MMS solutions incorporating infusion systems, medication management software, pharmacy automation, interoperability platforms, and connected care technologies.
  • Develop solution architecture diagrams, workflows, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Ensure solution scalability, cybersecurity compliance, and system interoperability.

Customer Engagement & Pre-Sales Support

  • Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to support strategic customer opportunities.
  • Participate in customer presentations, solution workshops, technical demonstrations, and executive briefings.
  • Lead response to technical aspects of tenders, RFPs, and procurement processes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor during customer digital transformation initiatives.

Clinical & Workflow Optimization

  • Evaluate existing medication management workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend best-practice designs that improve medication safety, patient outcomes, and nursing productivity.
  • Support development of business cases demonstrating clinical and economic value.

Implementation & Deployment Support

  • Partner with Project Management, Service, and Customer Success teams during implementation.
  • Provide technical oversight during installations, integrations, testing, validation, and go-live activities.
  • Support issue resolution and escalation management for complex technical challenges.
  • Ensure successful transition from deployment to operational support.

Interoperability & Digital Health

  • Collaborate with hospital IT teams on integration requirements.
  • Support connectivity with EMR/EHR, HIS, pharmacy information systems, and other clinical platforms.
  • Advise on cloud-based solutions, data architecture, connectivity, and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Enable customer adoption of digital health and connected care capabilities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Global MMS product teams, Clinical Specialists, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Technical Service organizations.
  • Provide customer insights to influence product development and regional strategy.
  • Support commercialization of new technologies and digital health solutions.

Training & Knowledge Transfer

  • Deliver technical training to sales teams, clinical specialists, and customers.
  • Develop reusable solution design templates and best practices.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for MMS solution architecture within the region.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Electrical Engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing, or related discipline. Master's degree is a nice to have.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare technology, medical devices, health informatics, connected care, or solution architecture.

  • Experience working with hospital IT systems and healthcare workflows.

  • Experience supporting enterprise software or medical technology implementations.

  • Strong customer-facing and consultative experience within healthcare environments.
