What is Solution Architect Cloud & Infra?

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary professional to join our team as Solution Architect Cloud & Infra. This role goes beyond technical expertise; it requires strategic thinking, solution leadership, and the ability to influence decision-making at CxO levels. The ideal candidate will drive presales engagements, mentor junior consultants, and shape cloud and cybersecurity adoption strategies across large-scale enterprise and public-sector clients.

What does Solution Architect Cloud & Infra do?

Key Responsibilities

• Design cloud solutions across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, hybrid, and multi-cloud architectures.
• Conduct cloud readiness assessments, TCO/ROI analysis, and migration planning.
• Develop reference architectures, landing zones, and governance models.
• Work with customers on cloud-native modernization (microservices, containers, serverless).
• Integrate cloud solutions with security, networking, and DevOps practices.
• Support RFPs, proposals, and solution workshops with detailed architectures and demos.
• Maintain strong expertise in major cloud platforms both public & private (AWS, Azure, VMware, Redhat).

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Solution Architect Cloud & Infra?

Required Skills & Experience

• 7–10+ years of experience in DevOps architecture or presales.

Cloud Architecture & Design

• Proven experience designing and deploying cloud-native, hybrid, and multi-cloud architectures
• Expertise in application migration strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor, containerize).
• Ability to design scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Proficiency in cloud cost optimization practices and tools

Cloud Platforms Expertise

• Hands-on with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure) and private cloud platforms (VMware, Redhat).
• Strong understanding of core cloud services compute, storage, networking, and identity.
• Industry experience of PaaS offerings such as serverless, managed databases, messaging queues.
• Domain knowledge of cloud-native integration services (API gateways, service bus, event hubs).

Network & Connectivity

• Strong understanding of VPC design, VPNs, interconnects, load balancers, and firewalls
• Experience with hybrid cloud networking and SD-WAN integrations
• Dsign capability of zero-trust networks in the cloud.

Cloud Security & Compliance

• Knowledge of cloud-native security services
• Understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR) and their cloud applicability.
• Experience in designing and/or implementing IAM, encryption, secrets management, and security baselines

Collaboration & Presales Expertise

• Strong proposal writing, solutioning, and client presentation skills.
• Ability to lead customer workshops and solution discovery sessions.
• Experience supporting sales pursuits, RFPs, and account growth.
