As a Solution Manager, you will play a pivotal role in helping customers and internal teams solve complex business and technology challenges. Acting as the bridge between customers, Product Management, Engineering, Delivery and Professional Services, you will lead solution discovery, shape solution approaches, and ensure successful outcomes across a portfolio of strategic initiatives.

This role focuses on understanding business objectives, defining solution approaches, aligning stakeholders, and guiding delivery teams through complex and often cross-functional programmes of work. You will work collaboratively across multiple domains and products, influencing decisions and driving alignment without direct management responsibility.

The ideal candidate combines strong business understanding, technical aptitude, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to simplify complexity into clear, deliverable solutions.

Solution Discovery & Design

• Lead discovery workshops and requirements gathering activities with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Analyse business processes, challenges, opportunities and goals to identify the most appropriate solution approach.
• Produce solution proposals, high-level designs and recommendations that align with customer needs and business objectives.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners and Engineering teams to ensure solution requirements are clearly understood and achievable.
• Support definition of solution scope, assumptions, dependencies and success criteria.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, supportable and aligned with architectural principles and product strategy.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

• Build trusted relationships with customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Act as a strategic adviser for complex business and technical initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable solution outcomes.
• Facilitate workshops, design reviews and solution discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, priorities and competing requirements.
• Communicate solution direction, risks, trade-offs and recommendations effectively.

Solution Leadership

• Lead solution activities across multiple teams, products and business functions.
• Drive alignment between Product, Engineering, Delivery, Support and Commercial teams.
• Influence decision-making and build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Provide clarity and direction when managing complex or ambiguous problems.
• Ensure all parties remain aligned on solution scope, objectives and expected outcomes throughout the lifecycle of an initiative.
• Act as the primary solution lead for large or strategically important programmes.

Solution Governance & Delivery Support

• Support programme and project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Identify solution risks, dependencies, assumptions and constraints early and work with stakeholders to define mitigation plans.
• Ensure delivered solutions remain aligned with agreed business requirements and architectural principles.
• Support effort estimation, planning and solution scoping activities.
• Participate in solution reviews, testing activities and implementation planning where required.
• Help resolve complex delivery issues that span multiple teams or domains.

Strategy & Innovation

• Identify opportunities to improve customer outcomes through product adoption, process improvements and new capabilities.
• Analyse customer feedback, market trends and industry developments to inform future solution direction.
• Collaborate with Product Management to influence product strategy and roadmap decisions.
• Support creation of business cases, proposals and strategic recommendations.
• Champion best practices and continuous improvement across solution management activities.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related discipline preferred.
• Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.

Experience

• 4 - 6 years of experience in Solution Management, Solution Architecture, Product Management, Business Analysis or related technology consulting roles.
• Proven experience working with complex software solutions involving multiple products, stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Experience leading discovery workshops, requirements definition and solution design activities.
• Experience working directly with customers and senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile delivery practices.
• Experience operating within enterprise SaaS or digital platform environments is desirable.
