Job Description

Our client, a leading Software, Information and Communication Technologies company, operates internationally (Athens, Brussels, Luxembourg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Nicosia, Hong-Kong, Valetta, etc). Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes.



Our client currently has a vacancy for a Solution Integrator fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Luxembourg. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Job type: Contract

Duration: 6 months contract to begin with, possibility of extension later.

Location: Luxembourg

Workplace: Onsite

Requirements

  • University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
  • Minimum 10 years working on enterprise applications solutions development or enterprise application integration solutions with particular focus on the development platform APIs/SDKs;
  • Minimum 6 years of experience designing system integrations and architecting cross-platform connectivity;
  • Minimum 6 years of experience using middleware solutions for system integration;
  • Minimum 6 years of experience designing performance-optimized, scalable, and maintainable solutions;
  • Minimum 6 years of experience resolving technical debt and modernizing legacy applications;
  • Minimum 6 years of experience implementing integration patterns (publish–subscribe, request–reply, event-driven, etc.);
  • Minimum 6 years of experience designing fault-tolerant integration flows with retries and circuit breakers;
  • Minimum 6 years of experience designing and developing standardized RESTful APIs under OpenAPI or similar;
  • Minimum 6 years of experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP;
  • Minimum 6 years of experience delivering SaaS and CaaS hosting solutions;
  • Minimum 6 years of experience with integration health and performance monitoring tools (Splunk, ELK, OpenTelemetry);
  • Minimum 6 years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments;
  • Minimum 6 years of experience using the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence);
  • Minimum 6 years of experience documenting architecture and integration plans;
  • Minimum 6 years of experience creating mid- and long-term roadmaps and effort estimations;
  • Minimum 6 years of experience managing and leading integration-focused projects;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with XML and HTML as data formats;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with JSON;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience using data transformation and mapping tools for interoperability;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Docker;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms (hands-on deployment and operation);
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Kubernetes;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven processing;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with CI/CD automation;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience using Git or GitLab for code repositories and delivery processes;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience implementing API versioning strategies;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using secrets management tools such as HashiCorp Vault;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience performing credential management;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience performing database migrations;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with RDF, knowledge graphs, SKOS, OWL, or JSON-LD;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience monitoring and troubleshooting Kafka data flows and consumer performance;
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with GraphQL;
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with WSO2 API Gateway or similar;
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in cloud-agnostic environments;
  • Minimum 1 year of experience managing licensing and compliance of integrated components;
  • Minimum 1 year of experience using Tomcat;
  • Excellent command of the English language and good knowledge of French.

Responsibilities

  • Designing software architecture and integration strategies;
  • Designing system integrations and ensuring seamless connectivity across platforms;
  • Designing solutions that optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability;
  • Devising debt resolution and modernization strategies for legacy applications (e.g., upgrading Java versions);
  • Projecting mid- and long-term roadmaps, effort estimations;
  • Managing and leading projects from an integration standpoint, ensuring alignment with project goals;
  • Designing standardized APIs for enabling data exchange and interoperability;
  • Implementing common integration patterns and best practices (e.g., publish-subscribe, request-reply, event-driven architecture);
  • Devising strategies for fault tolerance, retry mechanisms, and circuit breakers in integration flows;
  • Designing and implementing graph technology solutions (e.g. RDF, triple stores);
  • Working with licensing and compliance aspects and constraints of integrated components and dependencies.
