The System Engineering Manager is responsible for developing and leading projects that are carried out in Hitachi Rail Bucharest within an international environment (cooperation with other Hitachi Rail entities) and is accountable for quality, budget and schedule, according to Software Development & Test Center strategy and objectives.
We are looking for an SEM who is active before the start-up of the project, being involved in the bid phase, collecting the estimations from all relevant stakeholders and creating the project schedule. The SEM is responsible for the consistent estimation and commitment of the development project scope and delivery approach by the contributing departments according to the scope defined and the set cost limits in time with the Bid schedule.
We are looking for an outstanding applicant who can demonstrate the following qualities:
design authority in order to optimize the project delivery approach
project setup
optimal risk profile
contribute to bid gates
development project scope and delivery approach by the contributing departments according to the scope defined in the bid and the resolution of deviations to achieve the development project cost baseline at project start
The SEM is responsible for the complete project management of the of the
development project (Generic Application) scope ensuring the given and tailored processes are applied optimally to reach the project scope, time and cost objectives.
Furthermore, the SEM is responsible to manage deviations in collaboration with the project team, line management to the reach stakeholder satisfaction.
