Solution Engineer – Scrum/Agile Delivery Master (Java Cloud)

We are looking for an experienced Solution Engineer with a strong Java Cloud Engineering background and recent experience as a Scrum/Agile Delivery Master to support a large-scale digital transformation program. This is a hands-on role combining technical leadership with Agile delivery in a cloud-native environment.

Key responsibilities:

• 
  Design, develop, and maintain secure, cloud-native solutions using Java, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
• 
  Lead Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and release planning.
• 
  Coordinate software delivery using Azure DevOps and Agile frameworks (SAFe/LeSS).
• 
  Collaborate with developers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• 
  Guide the team in solution design, implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• 
  Manage technical dependencies, risks, and delivery roadmaps.

Requirements:

• 
  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 
  10+ years of hands-on Java SE, API, and microservices development experience.
• 
  5+ years of experience as a Scrum/Agile Delivery Master within Java cloud-native projects.
• 
  Strong expertise in cloud architecture, event-driven systems, software design, and Azure DevOps.
• 
  Experience with Agile frameworks such as SAFe and LeSS.
• 
  Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), or Angular is a plus.
• 
  Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.

Location: Hybrid – Brussels, Belgium (3 days onsite per week)
Contract: Long-term contract until at least the end of 2028, with possible extensions.
