Job Title: Solution Engineer – Agile/Scrum Delivery Master

Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid – minimum 3 days on-site required)

This role focuses on leading the design, development, coordination, and delivery of cloud-native software solutions within a large-scale digital transformation program. The Solution Engineer combines strong technical Java/cloud engineering expertise with hands-on Agile/Scrum delivery leadership to ensure successful implementation of complex, microservices-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Design, develop, and maintain scalable IT solutions across the full software stack
• 
  Lead Agile/Scrum delivery activities (planning, refinement, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, demos)
• 
  Coordinate and track sprint execution and long-term release planning
• 
  Define and implement API, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• 
  Guide development teams in building secure and robust cloud-native applications
• 
  Manage dependencies, risks, and cross-team coordination in a large program environment
• 
  Ensure continuous integration and delivery using DevOps practices
• 
  Support production deployment, maintenance, and ongoing system improvements
• 
  Contribute to technical decision-making and propose alternative solution designs
• 
  Share knowledge and promote continuous improvement within the team

Key Technical Skills:

• 
  Java SE (including Java 10+) – expert level
• 
  API design and development – expert level
• 
  Microservices architecture and integration – expert level
• 
  Event-driven architecture (event sourcing, event handling)
• 
  Cloud-native software design and implementation
• 
  Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS)
• 
  Azure DevOps for Agile delivery management
• 
  Software architecture (cloud, API, microservices, eventing)

  Optional: Angular, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)

Driving the end-to-end delivery of cloud-native, microservices-based applications by combining deep Java engineering expertise with strong Agile/Scrum leadership in a large-scale public sector modernization initiative.
