    The Opportunity

    As a Solution Engineer within theDigital Development and Constructionteam,you will be responsible for the design, build, enhancement and support of Design & Build data solutions, integrations and systems that enable trusted reporting, operational insight and informed decision-making across Development & Construction.

    A key focus of this role is to help establish a connected Design & Build data ecosystem that supports Mirvac's emerging AI-enabled development lifecycle initiatives. This involves integrating design, cost, commercial and construction data across multiple platforms, enabling teams to understand the downstream impact of design changes on project outcomes, including cost, programme, constructability and delivery performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Partner with Development, Design, Commercial and Construction teams to understand business challenges and translate requirements into scalable technology, data and reporting solutions.
    • Design and deliver data solutions that support the end - to- end Design & Build lifecycle, from project feasibility and design development through procurement, delivery, defects and handover
    • Develop trusted data products, semantic models and reporting solutions that provide visibility of project performance, cost, programme, procurement, safety, quality, commercial and design coordination outcomes.
    • Partner with project teams and business stakeholders to define KPIs, measures and reporting requirements across Development and Construction operations.
    • Translate operational challenges into scalable data, reporting, integration and automation solutions.
    • Design, implement and support integrations between Development & Construction platforms and enterprise systems, ensuring reliable and secure information exchange.
    • Build and support data ingestion, transformation and orchestration processes in consultation with the enterprise data team
    • Develop reusable data components and integration patterns that improve consistency and reduce technical debt.
    • Analyse and troubleshoot integration, data quality and reporting issues across platforms.
    • Work closely with enterprise data and integration teams to ensure alignment to governance and architectural standards.
    • Design and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models.
    • Develop and optimise semantic models, datasets and reporting structures.
    • Define data structures, measures, KPIs and business rules in collaboration with stakeholders.

    About You

    You are an experienced Solution Engineer with 5+ years' experience in technology, digital, data engineering, analytics engineering, integration engineering or solution engineering roles.

    You'll have:

    • Previous experience designing, implementing and supporting data platforms, reporting solutions, integrations and information systems.
    • Exposure to Construction Design & Cost Estimating products would be highly regarded
    • Familiarity with workflow automation or orchestration tools preferably Workato or similar such as Power Automate, Zapier
    • Experience with SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, data architecture, integration platforms and Design & Build technologies (e.g. BIM, VIM, Revizto, CostX) highly desirable.
    • Relevant tertiary level qualifications
    • Ability to balance project and escalated support tasks
    • Ability to think strategically, adapt to change, deal with ambiguity and complexity
    • Strong attention to detail regarding quality / robust nature of code, best data management practices
    • Design Coordination Technologies ( BIM, Revizto, CostX )
    • Data architecture, master data management and data governance principles.
    • SQL & Relational Database Technologies
    • Semantic modelling, analytical datasets and reporting data structures.
    • Understanding of integration principles and common data exchange methods (e.g. APIs, Webhooks)
    • Ability to define basic data mappings and understand API request/response structures (e.g. JSON, XML)
    • Awareness of key concepts like system connectivity, data flow, and error handling in integrated environments
