The Engineering Teams (including the Electrical Engineering Team) are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.
As a Solution Development Engineer (Electrical Engineer) you will become a key member of the Electrical Engineering Team, a team delivering Electrical Engineering expertise and specialist services across the business across a vast range of assets. As a member of the Electrical Engineering Team you may find yourself working on assets ranging from small power and lighting to generators and complex variable speed drives working at voltages up to and including 11,000V. You may be supporting one of the many Capital Schemes, investigating incidents, supporting High Voltage or Low Voltage Inspection Services, developing specifications and policies or assessing the competence of electrical staff, partners or service providers.
The Electrical Engineering Team sits within the Engineering Section within the Asset Delivery Business Units. The Asset Deliver Function provides a central engineering and project management services across the company ranging from project managing multi-million pound projects, central engineering advice to complex maintenance and central stores and logistics
