As the Solution Design Senior you will oversee the development and optimisation of customer-centric transportation and freight management solutions. You will manage a multidisciplinary team responsible for analysing client requirements, designing tailored logistics strategies, and delivering end-to-end solutions that align with company standards and industry best practices. This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders across operations, sales, and IT departments to ensure the solutions are practicable, cost-effective, and adapt to evolving market needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the Solution Design team, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and high-performance standards.
  • Design and validate comprehensive freight and transportation solutions that meet client expectations and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective logistics strategies, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to guarantee timely and successful implementation of designed solutions.
  • Conduct detailed feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed designs to ensure sustainability and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of freight management technologies, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
  • Drive process optimisation initiatives that improve service quality, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to senior management and clients, highlighting design concepts, progress, and performance metrics.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in solution design or logistics management within the freight or transportation industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience supervising diverse professional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems through innovative design and strategic thinking.
  • Familiarity with logistics software, transportation management systems, and current freight industry technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable to effectively work within the NORTAM region.
