We are looking for a Solution Delivery Leader – GBO New Business to join us in developing ways for IKEA to stay relevant for our customers.

Passionate about understanding emerging digital trends, new business models, and how to translate these into strategic growth opportunities for IKEA's Global Business Operations (GBO) that demonstrably drive efficiency and cost reduction.
Have a strong background in digital strategy, business development, innovation leadership, and fostering cross-functional partnerships to launch new ventures that optimize operational spend.
Love being creative through identifying untapped market potential, conceptualizing digital offerings, and building compelling business cases for strategic investments that contribute to a low-cost operating model.
Take ownership and independently drive towards desired outcomes as a trusted Digital partner by originating and co-leading new GBO initiatives from conception through to strategic realization, consistently delivering cost-efficient solutions.
Know about developing innovative digital strategies, incubating new products or services with a strong ROI focus, and establishing effective collaboration models to unlock organizational growth and operational savings.
Have experience working in senior leadership roles, pioneering new business opportunities, and managing complex stakeholder landscapes across business and technology, always with an eye on efficiency.
Are a team player who takes ownership, builds cross-functional relationships with peers and loves sharing knowledge with others
Proactively manage relevant stakeholders, including executive leadership and GBO senior management, to champion new initiatives and secure alignment on cost-effective strategies.
Are curious, self-directed and want to keep learning!

Deep understanding of digital transformation, market dynamics, and business model innovation, with the ability to define strategic priorities and translate them into actionable initiatives that enable a low-cost operating model.
Exceptional leadership, influencing, and communication skills, adept at building and nurturing strategic relationships with executive-level stakeholders across GBO, Group Functions and Group Digital to drive economically sound innovation and operational optimization.

A day in your life with us

You’ll be a vital part in the transformation of IKEA into a more front-line obsessed company.

This mean that you will:
Proactively identify and analyze new business opportunities and market shifts where GBO can expand its value proposition through digital capabilities, always evaluating potential for cost efficiency.
Act as the strategic digital advisor to GBO leadership, co-creating vision and strategy for new products, services, or business models that align with our low-cost IKEA ambition.
Lead the entire lifecycle of new opportunity development, from ideation and robust business case creation (including detailed cost-benefit analysis) to stakeholder alignment, and securing sponsorship for digitally-driven ventures.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with GBO and other Digital functions (e.g., Enterprise Architecture, Digital Platforms, Product Teams) to ideate cost-effective solutions.
Establish and co-lead a framework for continuous exploration of business opportunities within GBO, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and strategic agility focused on delivering both growth and operational efficiency.
