As a Clinical Solution Delivery Consultant, you will work directly with clients to configure and implement Netsmart solutions in both pre production and production environments. You will help translate real world clinical workflows into system design, support end-user training, and ensure that each implementation aligns with the needs of clinicians and the populations they serve.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll gain deep exposure to Netsmart’s myAvatar platform and play a key part in helping clinicians spend more time on meaningful patient care. About the myAvatar Platform

myAvatar™ is an electronic health record (EHR) designed for organizations delivering behavioral health and addiction treatment services across community‑based, residential, and inpatient programs. Built to support whole‑person care, the platform uses real‑time analytics, workflow tools, and clinical decision support to streamline care delivery.

As a consultant, you’ll help clients build forms, workflows, and clinical configurations that power everyday work for clinicians, administrators, and care teams.

What You’ll Do

Client Communication & Support

  • Partner with clients to understand clinical workflows and how they translate into system needs.
  • Communicate system functionality, implementation progress, and issues in clear, accessible language.
  • Support client training sessions, workshops, and go‑live activities to promote user confidence.

Solution Configuration & Implementation

  • Configure system components such as clinical workflows, forms, and supporting dictionaries based on project requirements.
  • Perform system build, testing, and validation using Netsmart’s implementation methodology.
  • Support NX Upgrade initiatives by partnering with clients to evaluate clinical workflows, validate system configurations, facilitate testing activities, and ensure a smooth transition to enhanced platform capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot configuration and data‑related issues across diverse environments.

Project Participation

  • Take part in client meetings, internal initiatives, and cross‑functional collaborations.
  • Provide input on workflow analysis and help identify areas for optimization.
  • Document solution status, risks, and issues for clients and project leadership.

Continuous Improvement

  • Support process improvements, contribute to team knowledge, and help enhance delivery methodologies.
  • Maintain clear documentation of best practices and client‑specific configurations.

Qualifications

Required

  • Ability to work in office at Netsmart’s headquarters in Overland Park, KS
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 1 year of healthcare information technology or systems management implementation or consulting working experience
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Decision‑making skills
  • Flexibility
  • Comfort with ambiguity
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment

Preferred

  • Experience with Netsmart EHR solutions
  • Experience within Netsmart client industries (clinical, human services, long‑term care, senior living, etc.)
  • Experience working in a clinical setting (behavioral health, acute care, residential, outpatient, etc.)

Expectations

  • Potential travel up to 20% as needed (may vary by project and client)
  • Position may require occasional extended or irregular hours to support clients across multiple time zones and during project go‑live periods
