Trillium is seeking a motivated supply chain professional to join our team as a Solution Consultant specializing in Kinaxis Maestro, the AI-infused end-to-end supply chain orchestration platform. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on planning or operations experience who wants to build a career helping clients transform their supply chains through technology.

About the Role

  • You will help clients transform their supply chains using advanced planning software (specifically Kinaxis Maestro).
  • This involves understanding the business and data challenges our clients face in their supply chains and working with our solution architects to configure Kinaxis Maestro to solve those challenges. You'll serve as a bridge between client operations teams and technical implementation, translating real-world planning problems into software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement & Requirements Discovery
    • Partner with clients to understand their current supply chain planning processes, pain points, and objectives
    • Conduct discovery sessions and workshops to document business requirements across demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and S&OP
    • Analyze client data and identify opportunities where Maestro's capabilities can drive measurable improvements
    • Build trusted relationships with client planners, operations managers, and supply chain leaders
  • Solution Configuration & Implementation Support
    • Work closely with solution architects to translate business requirements into Maestro configurations
    • Support data mapping activities by understanding client source systems (ERP, spreadsheets, legacy planning tools)
    • Participate in system configuration for planning workflows, alerts, KPIs, and dashboards
    • Help design and test scenarios that replicate client planning processes within Maestro
    • Validate that configured solutions meet client business requirements
  • Testing, Training & Knowledge Transfer
    • Develop and execute test cases to ensure Maestro solutions work as designed
    • Create user-friendly training materials and documentation for client teams
    • Conduct training sessions for client planners and power users
    • Provide post-go-live support to ensure smooth adoption and address user questions
    • Share best practices based on your operational experience to help clients optimize their use of Maestro
  • Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving
    • Identify opportunities to enhance client configurations and improve planning outcomes
    • Debug complex issues by working backwards from symptoms to root causes
    • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve data quality, integration, or performance issues
    • Stay current on Maestro product updates and new capabilities
    • Document lessons learned and contribute to internal knowledge base

Profile

  • Experience
    • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in supply chain operations, production planning, materials planning, demand planning, or inventory management
    • Direct experience working in roles such as:
      • Material planner / production planner / supply planner
      • Demand planner / forecast analyst
      • Inventory analyst / buyer / purchasing coordinator
      • Production scheduler / capacity planner
      • S&OP coordinator
      • Operations analyst supporting planning functions
  • Required Skills
    • Working with Data in spreadsheets, databases, or planning systems
    • Thinking critically about supply chain trade-offs (cost vs. service, lead time vs. inventory, etc.)
    • Can explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
    • Understanding of core supply chain planning concepts such as:
      • MRP/DRP logic and planning parameters (lead times, lot sizes, safety stock)
      • Demand forecasting and forecast accuracy
      • Inventory management and replenishment strategies
      • Production scheduling and capacity constraints
      • BOM structures and supply chain relationships
    • Demonstrated participation in continuous improvement activities (Lean, Six Sigma, kaizen events, process improvement projects)
    • Experience identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions:
      • Improving forecast accuracy
      • Reducing excess inventory
      • Streamlining planning processes
      • Reducing lead times
    • Advanced Excel skills (Models, Macros, Dashboards)
    • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Infor, NetSuite or similar)
    • Participated in an ERP, MES (Manufacturing Execution System), WMS, or planning system deployment as a business user, tester, or SME
    • Experience in querying Databases, creating reports or working with BI tools
    • Used technology to automate manual tasks or improve data flows

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field
  • APICS certifications (CPIM, CSCP) or working towards certification
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
  • Exposure to advanced planning systems (APS) such as Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro, SAP IBP, Oracle ASCP, Blue Yonder, o9 Solutions, or similar
  • Kinaxis Maestro authoring skills or certification
  • Experience with supply chain planning software evaluation or selection
  • Any coding or scripting experience (SQL, Python, VBA, JavaScript, or others)
  • Experience with APIs, data integration, or ETL concepts
  • Familiarity with cloud-based SaaS platforms
  • Prior consulting experience in any capacity
  • Customer service experience working with external clients
  • Experience presenting to stakeholders or conducting training sessions
  • Software deployment or implementation experience
