About the Role

Join SAP Fioneer and help leading financial institutions and central banks modernize their technology landscape with innovative software solutions tailored to their strategic and operational needs.

As a Solution Consultant - Core Banking (m/f/d), you will combine business analysis, banking expertise, and technology know-how to identify customer challenges, develop innovative solution concepts, and support transformation initiatives across the financial services industry.

Working closely with customers, sales, product management, and delivery teams, you will act as a trusted advisor, helping organizations translate business requirements into future-ready solutions. You will analyze market needs, support the design of new products and solution capabilities, and contribute to shaping the next generation of banking technology.

What You’ll Do

• Implement SAP Fioneer banking solutions as part of digital transformation programs
• Engage with customers to understand business challenges, strategic objectives, and transformation needs
• Analyze business processes, requirements, and operating models to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
• Translate business requirements into functional solution concepts and high-impact solution designs
• Conduct workshops with business and IT stakeholders to define future-state processes, capabilities, and solution requirements
• Support the conceptualization and design of new banking products, business capabilities, and customer-specific solution enhancements
• Identify and assess emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory developments impacting the banking industry
• Develop compelling business cases and value propositions for customers
• Create and deliver tailored presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts to business and IT stakeholders

Requirements

What You Bring 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 2-5 years of professional experience in implementing digital transformation or technology-driven projects; experience in Financial Services is beneficial
• Interest in enterprise software, integration technologies, and business process transformation; prior SAP experience is an advantage but not required
• Strong customer focus with a proactive mindset and willingness to go the extra mile to deliver value
• Excellent communication skills in German and English, combined with a collaborative approach to solving complex challenges
