Job Title
Solution Architecture Advisor
About your role:
As a Solution Architecture Advisor, you will lead client-facing solution design for complex initiatives supporting the client environment. You will serve as a single point of accountability for translating business and technical needs into end-to-end digital banking solutions for one of Fiserv’s top three strategic enterprise clients. You will bring a strong technical background with solid integration and architecture experience, paired with the ability to understand client priorities and shape how they are met through Fiserv products, platforms, and delivery teams. Acting as the bridge between Fiserv and client counterparts, this role translates prioritized needs into comprehensive solution architecture, integration approaches, and implementation-ready direction for the current and future-state environment.
What you'll do:
Translate client business and technical needs into well-framed solution architecture, drawing on a solid understanding of integrations and how the product stack fits together.
Own end-to-end solution design across client and Fiserv architecture, identify product and platform integration points, and provide technical governance throughout delivery.
Design and document application programming interface (API) integrations, system interactions, and technical workflows that support secure, reliable, and supportable delivery
Understand prioritized business and capability needs, translate those needs into technical solution requirements, and define end-to-end architecture across Fiserv products and platforms.
Evaluate existing platforms, applications, and integration points to identify solution options, implementation risks, and recommendations aligned to business objectives
Support Agile delivery teams by translating business and capability needs into technical requirements, define and clarify end-to-end architecture decisions, and frame phased implementation approaches that balance near-term delivery with future-state architecture direction.
Produce architecture artifacts such as solution diagrams, interface specifications, and integration documentation to support development, testing, and deployment
Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.
Experience you'll need to have:
8+ years of experience in solution architecture, application architecture, or technical consulting supporting enterprise platforms, integrations, and client implementations
Experience designing and delivering integration solutions using APIs, data flows, system designs, or similar enterprise integration technologies
Experience working directly with clients or business stakeholders to gather requirements, present technical options, and align solution decisions to business outcomes
Experience documenting end-to-end technical solutions using architecture diagrams, interface definitions, workflow documentation, and related delivery artifacts
Experience supporting digital banking product offerings, including translating customer-facing digital bank capabilities into scalable solution architecture, integrations, and implementation requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
Experience working in Agile environments to ensure hitting project timelines and milestones to meet client expectations.
Experience supporting digital banks, payments, and card services clients
Experience with cloud-based architecture, hybrid integration models, security and modern integration patterns.
Familiarity with Fiserv’s Signature platform.
Experience supporting large strategic client accounts with complex stakeholder environments
