Job Description

Who you are

We are looking for a Solution Architect to join us in shaping and evolving how IKEA delivers value to our customers and ensures our solutions remain scalable, compliant, and future-ready.

Our diverse team is growing, and we would love to speak with you if you recognize yourself in some of the following:

Passion for designing robust, scalable enterprise architectures that translate complex ESG and sustainability requirements into practical, compliant, and reliable solutions.
Strong experience in SAP Sustainability Control Tower (SCT) and SAP Disclosure Management (DM), with a solid understanding of how these integrate within the broader SAP ecosystem.
Proven ability to take end-to-end ownership of architecture decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and measurable outcomes.
Hands-on experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions across SAP SCT, SAP Datasphere, and SAP DM, including data models, integrations, workflows, and reporting layers.
Experience working with statutory reporting, ESG reporting, or financial/non-financial regulatory reporting frameworks.
Comfortable operating in complex, cross-functional, and international environments, collaborating effectively with Finance, Sustainability, and Technology stakeholders.
Strong collaboration mindset, actively building relationships across teams and contributing to knowledge sharing and collective success.
Curious and self-driven, with a continuous learning mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-moving regulatory and technology landscape.

This is our wish list! If you don’t recognize yourself in all these points, you might still be an excellent candidate for the role.

The must-haves we see for this role is though:

Extensive SAP architecture experience, including hands-on expertise with SAP Sustainability Control Tower and SAP Disclosure Management.
Proven track record in designing and delivering enterprise-scale data and reporting solutions within ESG, sustainability, or statutory reporting domains.
A relevant degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, combined with strong capabilities in data architecture, integration design, and enterprise system thinking.

At IKEA culture our values are central to how we work every day. We believe they shape how we collaborate, make decisions, and grow together. To thrive here, it’s important that you share these values.

A day in your life with us

You'll own the end-to-end architecture of our statutory and ESG reporting landscape, playing a key role in IKEA's transformation towards a more data-driven and compliant organization. Working closely with colleagues across Finance, Sustainability, and Technology, you'll ensure our reporting solutions are scalable, resilient, and ready to meet evolving regulatory requirements.

In practice, you will:

Design and continuously evolve the end-to-end solution architecture across SAP Sustainability Control Tower (SCT), SAP Datasphere, and SAP Disclosure Management (DM), ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance by design.
Partner with business, Finance, and Sustainability stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements—including CSRD, ISSB, and future reporting standards—into practical, well-structured technology solutions.
Define and govern architecture principles, development standards, and best practices across SAP applications, data flows, integrations, and reporting implementations, while providing technical leadership throughout delivery.
Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new SAP capabilities and identifying opportunities to enhance automation, data quality, reporting performance, and operational efficiency.
Stay ahead of the evolving ESG and statutory reporting landscape, ensuring IKEA is well positioned to respond quickly to new regulations and business needs.
Collaborate with enterprise architects, platform teams, and delivery teams to ensure solutions align with the broader enterprise architecture and digital strategy.
