In this role, you'll:

Work as the Solution Architect (*SCATS), you will be responsible for shaping, designing, and developing innovative solution architectures for SCATS, to realise the technical vision and to meet overall SCATS product strategy, achieving customer and business outcomes.

You will be instrumental in reshaping a product that has seen decades of global dominance, you will be an integral part in helping to secure that dominance for more decades to come. You will be contributing to the wellbeing of your own community at a local, regional, national and global scale, and working with a product that touches the lives of a billion people every day.

About you

For you to be successful within this role you should meet with all, or most of the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery and documentation of successful solution architectures
  • Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable engaging authoritatively with a range of stakeholders whose agendas and priorities might not always be aligned
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, with respect to both day-to-day tasks and project delivery

Gained experience in one or a number of the following business areas:

  • Traffic engineering and traffic signals
  • Widely distributed systems
  • Operational technology and hardware integration
  • Cloud and hybrid architectures
  • Software as a Service (SaaS)
  • Designing for high availability
  • Cyber security, identity and access management
  • Data architecture
  • API design
  • Low-latency, near real-time systems

This is a permanent/full-time flexible hybrid role. 50% of your time will be office based, with at least 25% of that time from our CBD office. Salary & Grading – $158,393.00 - $177,399.00 + super.
