Solution Architect (Mobile Applications)

Location: Bangkok, Thailand | Permanent, full time | Hybrid

About the Opportunity

Evantis Talent Solutions is recruiting a Solution Architect with strong mobile experience for a leading multinational financial services organisation.

You will design end-to-end solutions for a global mobile app programme and guide delivery teams from design through to implementation. You will lead a distributed architecture team spanning several countries and third-party partners, and act as the architectural authority for the programme. You will also contribute to the organisation's cloud-native and AI architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design IT solutions with a strong focus on native or cross-platform mobile architecture
• Gather and analyse requirements with business and technical stakeholders
• Produce architecture designs and documentation for scalability, performance and security
• Lead integration of mobile apps with backend and cloud services
• Lead and prioritise the work of a distributed, multi-organisation architecture team
• Represent architecture in governance forums and influence stakeholders without formal authority
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, especially in mobile
• Contribute to IT strategy, roadmaps, and architectures that use LLM APIs, RAG pipelines and AI components

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Mobile Architect or similar
• Mobile architecture experience, native (iOS/Android) or cross-platform (e.g. Flutter)
• Strong grasp of architecture principles, design patterns and the mobile app lifecycle
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP, and Java, Python or C#
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools
• Experience gaining approval from architecture governance boards
• Proven leadership of architecture practices across distributed, cross-cultural teams
• Excellent English, able to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
• AI knowledge is a plus
