Job Description

Microsoft Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD) is at the forefront of delivering AI-first enterprise transformation powered by Microsoft Cloud and AI technologies. As part of North Asia ABS, the Solution Architect Manager (SAM) role will lead strategic customer engagements across Japan, driving E7 transformation, Copilot, and Agentic AI adoption through solution-led delivery and strong cross-team collaboration.

This role combines solution leadership, delivery excellence, people management, and business growth. The Solution Architect Manager partners closely with Sales, CSU, STU, SE&O, Engineering, and Partners to help customers modernize business processes and accelerate AI transformation outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with customer-facing consulting and delivery experience, capable of driving AI-first transformation at scale while building high-performing teams and trusted customer relationships



Responsibilities

People Management

  • Deliver success through empowerment, accountability, coaching, and care
  • Build a high-performing, inclusive, and AI-first culture
  • Drive team readiness, capability growth, morale, and career development
  • Ensure strong certification and skilling alignment across Copilot, Agentic AI, CCaaS, and Azure AI

AI-First Transformation Leadership

  • Lead AI-first delivery practices across engagements, embedding Copilot, Agentic AI, and automation into customer transformation programs
  • Drive adoption of Microsoft AI solutions including Copilot, Agentic AI, and related business applications scenarios
  • Build reusable best practices, accelerators, and delivery patterns to scale AI-first transformation across Japan and Asia
  • Partner with Engineering and COE teams to bring innovative AI capabilities into customer engagements

Solution Delivery & Customer Success

  • Lead solution delivery across strategic E7 transformation programs spanning Agentic AI, Copilot, CCaaS, and AI scenarios
  • Engage with senior customer stakeholders and executives to align business priorities and drive transformation outcomes
  • Support project governance, delivery quality, escalation management, and operational excellence
  • Partner with delivery leads and architects to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction
  • Drive adoption of AI-first consulting methods, tools, and accelerators to improve productivity and delivery quality

Business Growth & Job 2

  • Drive business growth through delivery-led expansion motions and Job 2 opportunity impact
  • Identify opportunities to expand E7, Copilot, and Agentic AI scenarios within strategic accounts
  • Partner closely with Sales, CSU, STU, and SE&O to accelerate pipeline generation and customer adoption
  • Support strategic pursuits, customer workshops, and AI transformation discussions

Operational Excellence

  • Support workforce and capacity planning across Architects and Consultants
  • Drive strong resource utilization, delivery consistency, and compliance excellence
  • Simplify delivery processes through automation and AI-enabled practices
  • Promote reuse of IP, assets, and delivery best practices across teams



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years leadership experience in consulting, delivery, architecture, or enterprise transformation
  • 4+ years customer-facing consulting or delivery experience
  • 3+ years team leadership or people management experience
