We are seeking a highly experienced JDE EnterpriseOne Technofunctional Consultant to support a mature, already-implemented JDE E1 ERP landscape for a manufacturing and sales business unit based in the USA The role involves end-to-end application support, enhancements, troubleshooting, and close collaboration with US business stakeholders during EST business hours.

The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of manufacturing and distribution processes, solid technical expertise in JDE E1, and proven experience supporting live production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 production support for the JDE EnterpriseOne ERP system across manufacturing and sales operations
  • Support core functional modules such as:
    • Manufacturing (BOM, Routing, Work Orders, MRP)
    • Inventory Management
    • Sales Order Management
    • Procurement / Purchasing
    • Finance (GL basics, AP/AR integration points)
  • Analyze business requirements from US stakeholders and translate them into functional and technical solutions
  • Work closely with business users to resolve incidents, service requests, and process issues
  • Lead root cause analysis for recurring issues and propose preventive solutions
  • Prepare and maintain functional specifications, process flows, and solution documentation

Technical Responsibilities

  • Build and Support JDE E1 technical objects including:
    • Batch and Interactive Applications (RDA)
    • Reports (UBE)
    • Table and Business View modifications
    • Form Extensions and Orchestration (if applicable)
  • Provide hands-on support with:
    • E1 Security setup (roles, users, permissions)
    • CNC coordination for deployments and environment management
  • Perform code fixes, patches, and enhancements following SDLC and change management processes
  • Support integrations with third-party systems (EDI, MES, WMS, reporting tools, etc.)
  • Participate in testing cycles including unit testing, system testing, and UAT support

Operational & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a primary point of contact for JDE-related support during US EST business hours
  • Regularly communicate with US-based business and IT teams
  • Participate in production calls, issue triage meetings, and change reviews
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, IT controls, and compliance requirements
  • Mentor junior consultants and review deliverables as required

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

  • 10+ years of JDE EnterpriseOne experience in a techno-functional role
  • Strong functional knowledge of manufacturing and sales business processes
  • Strong technical hands-on experience with JDE E1 development tools
  • Experience supporting implemented and live production environments
  • In-depth understanding of JDE tables, data models, and processing options
  • Ability to debug functional and technical issues across modules

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with recent JDE E1 versions (9.x)
  • Exposure to Orchestrator is a plus
  • Knowledge of reporting tools and integrations
  • Prior experience supporting US-based clients
  • ITIL or ERP-related certifications (good to have)

Work Hours & Flexibility

  • Must be willing to work overlapping US Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours
  • Flexible to join late evening or night calls as per business needs

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
